Begrudgingly I came home for the summer to blow off some steam after another failed relationship, intent on spending the summer alone to recover. But when a storm threatens a man out on the lighthouse pier, I run to save him. The moment my hand touches his skin, I hear a single word. Mate. But he's human, and I'm a werewolf. If I pursue him I'll be kicked out of the pack. And if I don't I'll be miserable for the rest of my life.

All I know is that I can't resist him. But can a werewolf and a human really find happiness together? I'm willing to sacrifice my place in the pack for him.

Maybe I'll just create my own pack so we can be together.

Loved it, Narrator is a little slow

Overall I loved this book and will go after all the sequels, but I did have to speed up the narrator a bit (1.2x speed) because the languid way he speaks made it hard to put sentences together. It wasn't bad, I probably could have done 1.5 speed, but I wanted it to sound more natural.

Wear Wolves and Humans

The story was great. Love how the wear wolves and human can get together.

Underdeveloped

Story idea isn’t bad but there is not enough detail to make it interesting. Ultimately you don’t care about the characters because you don’t know enough about them to care.

Writing is painfully juvenile. With a good editor and story development this might have been better.

Not planning to read more and want a refund.
