I can’t believe I waited 60 years

I absolutely loved this book. I can’t believe I waited 60 years to read it. The narration was well done.

Yet another just OK reading

Of course, the book itself is wonderful, as always. I was a bit disappointed in this narration. I’m not exactly sure how they create these, but it felt like both of the narrators were just reading their own lines in a studio by themselves and then it was edited together. I did not get a sense that they were talking back-and-forth. It felt kind of sterile. The voices used for different characters were not significantly different from each other so during a conversation, sometimes it got hard to distinguish which was which. They did a competent job, but in my mind, Rosamund Pike is the mark to beat. Mr. Collins…hahahaha.

Amazing classic

Obviously it’s an amazing classic so I had to give it 5 stars. So many modern/contemporary and even fantasy books play out a Darcy and Lizzie story line. It’s so timeless and good.

A classic reborn

I LOVED the audio version of this book!! I’ve read Pride and Prejudice but the audio made it come to life. The text felt dense but the audio is light and fun.

I am a huge fan of Ramon de Ocampo and I highly recommend this audiobook!!

Beautiful Classic/ Wonderful Performance

I recently watched the movie and decided I needed to reread this love story.. What a treat and added audio … hearing these wonderful voices really brought the characters alive to me. Outstanding performance!!!!!
