Magic is fading, and humanity is at the brink of extinction.

Sybil lived and breathed the life of a miner, delving deep into monster-infested caverns and perilous shafts, risking her life to unearth Relics of an ancient past for food and shelter. That is until one day, she discovers a Relic that would change her fate from a simple miner to an Ascended—a Relic that connected her to the magic that was once lost.

[You have acquired the aspect of Fallen Flames.]

A Relic that gave her freedom.

I loved the story. Even the generic bits.
I loved the dynamic growth, the borderline life or death scenes.
Trying to imagine the direction the story was going was an interesting exercise in futility. Keeping me on my toes. Bravo 👏 🎉

Cute overall

This is a great book, with a great performance. It is action packed with very little downtime, and for a system based novel, you aren’t bogged down by a ton of system notifications, and repeating Stats over and over again. Overall, a very good novel.

No down time

This was an enjoyable new entry to the genre. My only real issues were pacing at some points and detail overload occasionally. Neither of these issues ruined the story or took away from it enough to not get max stars.

Good listen
