Good

The book had a strange beginning until you started getting into the book. Very interesting book.

sprinkled with suspense, insight & mystery

Seattle is the scene of densely woven tapestry of clues memories and murder. Pain and fear from the past flare from hidden embers of a terrible night two decades ago. The young survivors chase down clues left by their mothers' last ditch efforts to protect them.

Can't put it down!

I love Jayne Ann Krentz.Listening is so much better than reading these days. Bad eyes.

Liked the story but the narrative was poor

Would you listen to Promise Not to Tell again? Why?

The story line was good but the narrative was very poor. The narrator was monotone with not inflection in her tone. Hard to distinguish between male and female characters.

Good story

Narrator droned a bit. I put the reading speed up to x1.5 which actually helped.
Good story. Liked the characters. Main characters were both a bit damaged, but it did not hurt the flow of the story. A good continuation of a story that began in 'When all the girls have gone'. Different main characters for each book of the trilogy but a mystery that unfolds thru the series.
