Stone Barrington gets entangled in the rarefied art business in this heart-stopping thriller by #1 New York Times bestselling author Stuart Woods.

When a slam-bang of a crime brings a beautiful new client into Stone Barrington’s office, little does he know his association with her will pull him into a far more serpentine mystery in the exclusive world of art. It’s a business where a rare find could make a career—and a collection—and mistakes in judgment are costly. And under its genteel and high-minded veneer lurks an assortment of grifters and malfeasants eager to cash in on the game.

In the upscale world of New York City’s luxury penthouses and grand Hamptons estates, it will take a man of Stone Barrington’s careful discernment and well-honed instincts to get to the truth without ruffling the wrong feathers...because when it comes to priceless and irreplaceable works of art, the money and reputations at stake are worth killing for.

If you could sum up Quick & Dirty in three words, what would they be?

A good read or listen

What did you like best about this story?

Stone Barrington and cast. Just Wish SW would sting for more than 1 reader. Voices get mingled.

Which scene was your favorite?

Gimlets.
I don't drink or sip martinis unles I want to get plastered.
My version of a gimlet is: in a 12oz glass... 1 shot of saphire gin, 1 shot of simple syrup, 2 shots of Rose's sweetened lime, 4 shots water. Top with crushed ice. Dilute or sweeten to taste. Ice melts so give it a few minutes to chill then consume in 15 minutes.
Thanks SW and S Barrington.
If u add 6oz to bottle as stone says Its Tart booze. More 1/2 Rose's, 1/4 sugar, 1/4 gin, top with water and ice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Gimlets

Any additional comments?

My 2 women (not daughters) now love Gimlets by Kevin.

A new, thoughtful, energetic Stone Barrington romp. Intricate and intriguing. Fun and smart. Very enjoyable.

Stone Barrington At His Best

Stone is the perfect character and I can't wait for the next book. Tony Roberts is also amazing.

Another great story from Stuart Woods.

Once again I’ve throughly enjoyed the team of Stuart Woods and Tony Roberts. Tony’s rich voice really enhances the story. Though chronology Stone is getting older, he’s just as driven by sex as ever but Mr. Woods no longer has the need to be explicit. That is good and bad, I’ve always enjoyed Stone’s sexcapades! Another good mystery and kept me guessing up until almost the end. If you enjoy the Stone Barrington series, you will enjoy this one as well. It’s not rocket science, it’s FUN!

Entertaining
