An accidental pregnancy, small town, sports romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author, Devney Perry.

Pregnant. Homeless. Broke. Not what I’d expected for my senior year in college. Neither was Rush Ramsey.

We met the day I went camping and got stranded on the side of a gravel road. I didn’t believe in white knights who freed damsels in distress. Life had taught me that if something bad could happen, it probably would. The only person who would save me was me.

But Rush Ramsey rescued me that day. He was sweet and kind and charming. He made a dark, starry night a little less lonely.

I should have realized it was too good to be true. That an incredible night of passion would come with consequences. That the bad luck rollercoaster I’d been riding for twenty-one years wasn’t ready to stop.

Because Rush Ramsey, Treasure State University’s most eligible bachelor and quarterback extraordinaire, just got me pregnant.

Rush Ramsey is the QB for The Treasure State University Wildcat’s, he’s recently broken up with his longtime girlfriend and an odd night out at the bar, he runs into a certain strawberry-blonde he’s been crushing on.
After a hot night of passion with Rush, Faye realizes a month later, their unprotected “seggs” had lasting consequences and she’s now pregnant and utterly devastated.
Receiving a text to Faye to say “I’m pregnant” is how Rush finds out & hears from her since that one night of incredible passion they shared 😳
I absolutely loved this heartfelt story and definitely recommend reading. I also listened to the audiobook and the narrators: Jason Clarke & Vanessa Edwin do a fantastic job bringing these characters to life 💜💜

College 🏈 romance that’s full of heart ♥️

The narration was superb. I identified a lot with the FMC in terms of having that need to be independent. Even if someone else in her place would’ve been happy for the help. Rush is a completely different story. Oh Rush. Though he always did the right thing, his deliverance sometimes could’ve been better. I kept reminding myself “oh right. These are 21 year old people.” Excellent character development though. You won’t regret reading it!

So good!

I love this series, and I didn’t think any next would be better than the Coach… but the story of these two was beautiful!!

Beautiful and realistic story!

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook. It was a sweet story. Rush was a standup guy - totally likable. I got frustrated with Faye that she gave Rush so much push back when he was trying so hard. I also didn't like the scenes with her fighting and bickering with Maverick. It felt out of place. It made more sense later on as we learn more about Maverick, but I didn't get it from her position. Otherwise, I would have given it all five stars. Spice was relatively low too. Narration was very good. Enjoyable, but not my favorite from this author. I did like that the story's timeline moved along well, skipping over unnecessary scenes.

Good book
