These books are hard to put down err... pause. If I did not need to sleep or work I would be caught up on the series already. EASILY in my Top Five for this genre.

omg omg omg Dawn and Dusk I'm squealing right now.
Please please please become bonded lovers 🤞🤞🤞
I love the pacing, the world-building, the way the system is portrayed, and especially love how much I identify with Elaine. I don't know if she's intended to be autistic and have ADHD like I do, but there's so many little things that match up with me and it's so wonderful to see in a protagonist 🥰

I love this series so much!!!

I really wish someone had coached the narrator on saying Latin names. Hesiod is "Hes-E-od" not "he-soid"

I love the narrator but

Andrea Emmes preformance is great, the story is good and unexpected but the tiniest thing that felt really out of water for Elaine and even out of character enough to make me do a triple check as it threw me out of the story for a hard 5 minutes, was Elaine’s moral stand on Femorians while all the while it being confirmed by her oath that they are mindless and o k to kill, meanwhile she goes and shoot fireballs at them for hours on end.

That was the only thing that felt bad about this book for me 🤘

Tiniest spoiler
