There is a newborn evil god—and his name is Ashlock.

While technically true, it's a reputation he desperately wishes to change. But with prophecies citing his involvement in the destruction of the world and fanatic members of his cult being a little too good at evil marketing, he has to run with it.

After all, he has bigger problems to face. Vincent Nightrose has fully awakened, and the looming Beast Tide is rumored to contain Monarch Realm-level beasts.

In this exciting and action-packed installment of the series, the Ashfallen Sect must continue rising to unforeseen heights to survive the challenges ahead.

Book six of a unique reincarnation isekai LitRPG series set in a Cultivator world. With millions of views and tens of thousands of followers, this was one of the most popular web serials of 2023.

Things come to a head, and they don't generally go where I expect them to, which is good. I appreciated getting chapters from Vincent's perspective, as they did a good job humanizing the demon. Occasional tidbits of SoL stay entertaining without being overbearing for a climax book, though I'm a bit annoyed that we didn't get to see the tournament that had been talked a out for so long. Also pretty frustrated with what Ash off handedly did with that body at the end of the book, since there were a LOT of much better options.

Looking forward to seeing the consequences of decisions made in this book for the future. Though I do hope the books start increasing in duration again at some point as they've been getting progressively shorter over time.

The narattor seemed to do a better job, with less obvious mistakes than in previous installments, but there's still occasions where he says the wrong word, and they STILL use the word "sprouting" instead of "spouting". Not sure if that's narattor or author but it bothers me. Hopefully the improvements continue, I really want to like this narattor since he has such an amazing range of unique voices

Thrilling climax, and the narattor seems to be getting better

Seemed a bit short but it makes sense where it ends. Otherwise it was good stuff

it's amazing that it doesn't even exist and the rest can come back with some good people

The beginning and ending were engaging and well-executed, but the middle portion felt slower in comparison. Improving the pacing there would make the story flow more smoothly from start to finish.

The sound of the narrator changed slightly from the previous book that threw me for a loop. The change was slight enough that I’m used to it after a bit. The quality of the book is great and the characters are interesting and makes you want to read/listen to more.

Great story
