There's a land rush on exploiting alien tech. Pirates, claim-jumpers, cyborgs, and bureaucrats all must be defeated to keep Borag flying.

Red Company: Discovery is a pulse-pounding, military science fiction thriller that will grip you from the first word to the last. Fans of B. V. Larson will be captivated by this action-packed, high-octane adventure that explores the darkest reaches of the cosmos and the strength of the human spirit.

This book has some promising spots, but it has one major flaw. This author seems to create characters to simply kill them off. I was unable to make any connection with any of the major characters for very long because they had very, very short lifespans. What's the point of listening to a book? If you have no character connection.

Dead Heros

I like the fact that the author managed to create a different main character that isn't James. I think that's important for this series. I really like the plot which seems to be more and more difficult these days.
I also really like the captain and Anna, BV Larson really hits the sweet spot for these type of characters.

Can't wait for book 3!

And of course Mark Boyette delivers impeccable work as always.

Thank you both for the great time!
