A very underappreciated title

I watched the anime and while I thought it was interesting, I didn’t think it was amazing. But I liked certain ideas in the story, so I thought I’d give the original novel a shot when it came out on Audible. I really enjoyed this book. It has themes that I really like from Harry Potter. A school of magic that has strange and fantastical creatures, talking plants, families with long history in the magic world. And under it all, there’s a series of mysteries that the heroes find themselves getting involved in. There’s also a very dark underworld to the magical community with people doing horrible experiments and becoming corrupted by the power they wield. It seems there’s only 3 reviews for this story so far, which is a shame. I really hope this story does well enough for more volumes to get made into audiobooks.

That epilogue, though...

This book has completely captivated me and left me eagerly craving for more! The ending was a completely unexpected plot twist
