As the party splits, seafaring battles leave Lago-Sterjall stranded in a desert. Deceit breeds beneath the blue sands, and grave dangers threaten to take away all that the wolf holds dear, including his newfound lover, the caracal prince. The dome of the marsupial clade is now within their reach, but even more realms await their arrival—domains where the limits of Sterjall’s moral convictions will be tested.

Journeying toward the opposite end of the continent, Jiara-Kitjári recruits Banook and his bears to infiltrate the domes ransacked by the Negian Empire. While traversing frozen mountains and forsaken ruins filled with riches, Kitjári’s heart makes room for a more valuable treasure, but the woman she loves does not seem to share the same sentiment.

All the while, the Red Stag’s army advances, now threatening to enslave the behemoths of the Archstone Dome. If the warmongering elk manages to rein in the giants, the Negian Empire will be ready to carry out its final strike.

I am absolutely loving this series. Please, please release more. I can't wait! Really good series. If you are not sure about getting this series, at least get the first book to listen to. Both story and performances is absolutely great!

Amazing story

What a ride! This book moves the story and makes you want the next book badly

The best LGBT Fantasy Series I've read, and one of the top 10 total Fantasy Series I've read. wish they'd make a movie.

Excellent plot balance for an LGBT. The natural progress of the plot, character development, world building, and realistic balance of LGBT topics/characters. Too many LGBT books over focus on these topics and forsake the plot in doing so, but this was perfectly balanced. The in depth world building and inclusion of real world science terms, prehistoric & non extinct animals, and a plethora of online reference guides to help was phenomenal! To develop new languages is so cool. The narrator did an amazing job creating unique and consistent voices too, though he should avoid singing. 😅. I'd definitely rate higher than 5 stars of i could. Can't wait for the rest of the series
