Jax and Evie

A heartbreaking but heartfelt romance that tugs are my heart but left me smiling in the end. Jax and Evie were clearly two people meant to be together. I enjoyed going on this journey with them.

This story was a little boring to me but most likely because I'm used to reading books with *spice*. I never grew any attachment to any of the characters. The male actor was a little hard for me to understand at first. I appreciate him trying to have the southern accent the characters may have had but it made it hard to hear him clearly. The female actor was fine.

Did not finish

I’ve read some of the ice hockey series by this author before and enjoyed them, but could not get into this one. I made it about 40% of the way and just didn’t care about any of the characters. Male narrator was kind of hard to understand sometimes as well.
