She's given up on love. He's given up on life. But they can't seem to give up on each other.

Of course, my brother went and got himself hurt on this last deployment.

I don't know what I expect at the hospital but I don't expect Noah, the man who saved my brother's life.

I don't expect him to also save me . . . or that I will have to save him.

Contains mature themes.

Great story line, with awesome characters - smiled, laughed, cried...and cheered as this book went on. can't wait for the rest of the series!

I truly enjoyed listening to the narrators bring to life the true emotions of the main characters. A love like Noah and Lexi deserves to be told and shared.

A love that matters

This is the first story in a wonderful series by Kaci Rose. Imagine going through unspeakable trauma, only to find your perfect someone. That is what happened to both Lexi an Noah. The way they support the other shows what love is.

A wonderful story

The attraction/love story is rushed and feels forced while at the same time boring in the beginning ( not one or two but many chapters). I needed it to be a little more realistic. However, the overall premise was great as a whole. If you are familiar with the Brady Bunch, it is very much like it in terms of everything being easy and neatly tied up.

Sweet premise and story, with a but.
