Book four of the Rise of the Arcane Aristocrat series.

I was the Rift Magus, master of space and time, protector of worlds. Reborn in a broken body with only my knowledge intact, I rebuilt myself from nothing.

Now the reckoning has come.

House Delamere, the architects of my abduction and the force behind demonic pacts and soul-warping corruption, has taken Adrian. My cousin. My friend.

They believe they understand power. They are wrong.

I will do all I must to rescue my friend. And then I will ensure that nothing like this can ever happen again.

This is a matter of survival. Mine, or that of House Delamere.

They broke Lucian Alastair Eldraine. Now they face the Rift Magus.

what i dont like is that female voice, always making woman sound manly when they should be soft always LOUD extremely loud, no woman she does is normal soft spoken.. always loud a harsh. its like she's trying to make them more manly than the story portrayed. woman can be strong without being MANLY speaking. or LOUD did I say LOUD to where I want to skip her parts of the story.. she shouldn't sing either.. the man is good but changed evens voice to more whimsy type. I cant stress enough how that woman narrator is just awful. she cant seem to do a normal sounding but strong woman's voice or have that sofe normal tone..

I do like the story

For a Final book it ties everything up nicely it's a great book to finish in a single sitting

Satisfying Conclusion

The story was decent the author made this archetype his own. The male narration was good and was 99% of the story. The 1% That was the female narration needed some audio editing. Every time a female character spoke the narrator for her, came in louder than the male character and made it sound like she was yelling at the other characters. I don’t think that was intentional.
Narration speed seemed to be natural in my opinion making the advertised length of the book accurate.

The books were too short

This was another good book in the series. If I have any complaints is the length of the books. It seems like we just get started into the journey and in the book ends. I really wish the author would take this in consideration on his next round of books.

Good book

I like the story but I’d never buy it if it wasn’t on sale it’s way too short for the price of a credit or full price the total of 4 books could be 2 books

Very short
