So Kronos is mated to a human?!

How Sway? This was a good way to tell his story and for him to find love. With hard work! So that he feels like he earned it considering how much guilt he harbors. Eva was perfect for him and his experience made him perfect for her.

I was waiting to get to this story. It’s my favorite so far!! On to the next one❤️

redemption arc

Kronos was a bad guy for most of the series so I wasn't sure how I'd feel with this book where he finally gets his romance, but he really comes around and regrets his actions from before. This isn't the most exciting of the series, but it's a good entry. It takes place entirely at The Watch, two years after all the conflict in the previous books so you get a better sense of how the humans and Kraken have come to live together.

Woah!

To be honest I didn't expect to enjoy this one but my loyalty to the series kept me reading. I enjoyed this book so much. As always the narration was phenomenal! Eva's struggles are close to my heart and I loved the representation, struggles and her strength!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Kronos needed a chance to redeem himself so I’m glad he gets his chance. Eva is a relatable character. I was pleased with how the plot comes full circle. The narration is good. I have always enjoyed the voice of the kraken. Eva’s voice takes some getting used to but that’s only because she has an accent. I will relisten to this book many times in the future.
