Ruining the Duke

Emma finds the Duke of Bathampton, Colin Baxter, arrogant yet attractive. A pretty lady’s maid for the Duke’s sister, Emma wishes the Duke would notice her, but she knows her place and is envious of his love, Lady Laura.

Colin is tired of courting Lady Laura. She does not hold his interest but the woman who does is not within his reach. He finds Emma very beautiful, but a lowly servant also holds no interest for him. But why does his heart race whenever he sees Emma? And why is his anger on high when she is around? But when they start to secretly meet, the Duke is shocked at his feelings for Emma.

But the Duke’s sister sees what is going on and plans to put a stop to a low-class girl winning her brother’s heart. When the Duke finds out, he races to find Emma, before it’s too late.
