Rush Week is a juicy, wild, drama-packed novel filled with good—and not so good—girls behaving badly, dark humor, and sexy scandals. As the sisters navigate their present and not-so-distant past, unbreakable bonds of friendship are put to the test, and regrettable mistakes threaten to change everything if exposed. But perhaps if they confess their sins to each other, they can begin to mend not only themselves, but their sisterhood— before the world finds out just how wicked they are.

Fascinating subject, poor execution

I really wanted to like this book because I have to admit I'm kind of obsessed with sororities and southern blondes not having ever been in or one myself. Add UA Rush Week and The Machine - what a rich topic! Instead I got cliched characters, lots of sex and drugs, women undermining each other and just general downright nastiness. About a third of the way through I realized this wasn't going to get any better especially since I could neither root for nor like a single one of the characters. Others may disagree but my recommendation is not to bother with this book. Hopefully somebody will get the subject right one of these days!
