I never imagined the ruthless Titan would choose me as his rebellion, or that I’d become his shield. Hockey was supposed to be my ticket to stability, earning me a scholarship for an education I could never have afforded on my own. Until Connor Walsh, the ruthless star of the Crestwood hockey team and my captain, corners me with an ultimatum that changes everything. Marry him, or watch my scholarship—and my entire future—disappear. It's blackmail, pure and simple. A calculated move in whatever twisted game he's playing with his equally ruthless father. And I'm just a pawn he's willing to sacrifice. Now I'm trapped in their war, shielding the one person who should be my enemy and learning all over again that safety is just another thing people like me don’t get. I keep telling myself to hold back, that getting close only leads to hurt. But every day I spend with Connor pulls me in a little more. And falling for my husband is worse than anything the ruthless titan can threaten me with. Because love—family—well, they never last.

This is my fav story of the series. The narrators acting was amazing. Joe Arden's voice acting was absolutely amazing! As always, he takes you on the ride. They both were really good and I love the story.

Joe Freakin Arden for the win!!!🥇

I’m speechless. I think this is my favorite book of the series. I have no words for Connor and Ryan.

I thought the other titans were crazy, especially Alexei and Viktor, but Connor was a whole new level of crazy. He really just straight up kidnapped Ryan and forced him to marry him. Who does that?!😅

Obviously desperate times call for desperate measures and the only way Connor’s plans would work, would be if Ryan married him.

There’s so much about Connor that nobody else knows. No one suspects the living hell he’s in.

Ryan was such a sweet, gentle giant. He was hurting so much and Connor just made things worse for him.

Two broken souls that didn’t know how to deal with their pain but somehow managed to work together. Once Connor fell for Ryan, he was willing to burn down the world for him.

This is definitely going at the top of my relistens because it’s just that good! And that ending? I’m so excited to see what’s next because I need more!

Fantastic narration by Joe Arden and Anthony Palmini.

listen anytime Joe Arden does his performance you know it's going to be 1000/10 he's quite emersive. Anthony Palmini is another that I enjoy thoroughly. Both Narrators brought life to this story and I enjoyed this book as much as the others. Great work all 👏 👏

This book had me seated in a way I’ve never been seated before. I just could not put it down, I love Ryan so much that’s my baby boy. The really emotional moments had me soothing my iPad as if I was soothing Ryan himself. That epilogue though I can’t wait for what comes next.

Captivating

This may be my favorite one out of the whole series! And don’t get me wrong I love the whole series. This tale had a lot of heartache and trauma, and a lot of love and found family.

My favorite!!
