So, when she's attacked, Easton is the one who realizes she's unwittingly stumbled into a dangerous situation and she needs his help to stay safe.

The escalation of violence has Easton holding Summer close enough to kiss, close enough to shatter her ability to focus on a single other thing....

I loved Tesla who wouldnt but she is quircky. I love this one completely
