Love and Suspense

This book will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time! Piper Stone has written another tantalising thriller. Both Scorpion and Caroline are strong, tenacious, have emotional wounds, and desire each other. The storyline has both romance and the devastating impact of greed no matter what the cost. The romance has spankings, rough sex, as well as tender love scenes. Ms Stone is a genius at these as well as with mystery and thrillers. I love this book and I'll definitely be listening to it again.

I could listen to Thomas Locklear all day. He has a deep sexy voice as well as one that will give all of the characters including women their own distinctive voices. He makes you feel the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book for your listening pleasure.

like thomas voice. Dislike that most of the dialog was the females thoughts and voice. Not so much of the soldiers thoughts or voice.

Heat, Spice and a Mystery!

Montana Bad Boys Book 2, but it stands alone so you don't need to have listened to the first book.
However, if you do go for book 1 first, this one is a little richer when you meet certain characters.

Scorpion returns from overseas to take ownership of the legacy his uncle left him in his estate.
However the more he learns, the more questions he has.

Caroline is looking to step away from her life where an ex crushed her dreams and find a new path forward. But as she does this, she meets Scorpion and things will never be the same from there.

As with the other books from Piper, you get a heavy dose of insta-lust between these characters. The attraction is immediate and the need to express that attraction through discipline presents itself promptly. This brings the spitfire nature of our heroine forward and as the mystery unfolds, the protective nature of the hero is expressed.

Can these two solve the mystery and find happily ever after?

As always, I'm in awe of Thomas Locklear's narration. full cast range of voices and solid performance with some sound effects mixed in for texture. It's an immersive experience.

Piper just keeps writing the best stories! They can grab my attention right from the first!
Thomas Locklear has the voice that can melt the clothes off of a nun. It is so sexy and he can do female characters, you won’t believe it is him. Every scene makes me think I am watching everything that happens! Such emotions!! Don’t miss this one!
