It’s a solid storyline, but has a few contradictions as you listen. Overall though it’s worth it.
Biggest thing I didn’t like was the voiceover. The pitch for Sami (or however you spell her name) was shrill and a few times almost made me stop listening to the book with how annoying it was. Plus it sounded like she was always straining to yell with the pitch/tone even when the book read that she was talking calmly or whatever.

Solid read with a few contradictions

I’m 3 hrs into this book and I could care less if the MC or the entirety of his universe gets blown out of existence.

Yawn

Slow progress in storytelling, main hero is too selfless. Instead of solving his own problems he drops things and then try’s to help others failing in the end.

Slow story progression. 10 chapters just to get out of a cave.

I am struggling with continuing with this book. The flashbacks between each chapter and just take away from the story. With the first chapter, yes that is actually what got me intrigued and pulled me in, but after that, there’s no reason for it. Every time you break off from the main story with a different perspective of somebody else or different perspective from 16 years ago, it is making me wanna skip the chapter.

It is slow, and I hate the flashbacks

was able to push though 16 hours of this but can not endure another minute of the narrators lifeless read through.
story has some promise but the narrators destroyed anything worthwhile.

painfully dry and toneless
