Oh my!

At first, I did struggle because of the narrator's interpretation of the characters' accents, the snooty nasal thing. But I began to focus on the words and story line. I laughed and cried. FYI- There were a few scenes with sexual content.

Another wonderful JQ book

First I feel the narrator needs some extra love given the negative reviews by others. Ms. Sterlin’s timing was spot on with JQ’s banter and wit amongst the characters. I listened at 1.1 speed and was completely captivated by the story. I have definitely struggled through some terrible narration, and this was not one of those times.
Regarding the story: it was hilarious, heartbreaking, and lovely. Excited to listen to Olivia’s story next; her charter was decidedly funny and forthright.

A great listen with a romantic storyline, well developed plot and engaging characters. Excellent narration.

Not my cup of tea.

The narrator was excellent but could not save a story that was contrived and uncompelling. The funny bits - not funny, the central friendship - not believable, the central conflict - tedious, the period detail - absent.

Down to earth telling, but with dreaming ups and downs of romance fom the leads.
