Even though I hate AI narrative….

I love the story. Yes it’s quick. It’s steamy, I would love for it to be expanded, it’s got great potential for book 2 and three just based on these two characters. There’s a whole family, but I would like to hear more from these two.

The thrilling narrative is unfortunately undercut by the audio performance. The voice is clearly a terrible virtual voice—monotone and lacking in necessary emotion. If you are someone who listens for performance and feeling, this may be a struggle. However, if you are able to overlook the lack of feeling and simply want the story without the expressive performance, the quality of the narrative itself is engaging enough to carry you through this fast-paced paranormal thriller.
