I'm the first-born son of the mafia king. The favorite. Destined to rule, I'm a dangerous man, a ruthless one. But in my world, you have to be.

Then Natalie stumbles into my life. Wrong place. Wrong time.

Twice, fate put her in my path.

Twice, fate placed the innocent lamb at the mercy of the monster.

I gave her a chance to walk away. Told her it would be better for her if she did.

But she didn't listen.

And now it's too late.

Because I'm not good. I never wanted to be. And I won't let her go anymore. See, I'm not the hero. When I touch her, it's with dirty hands.

I know my reckoning is coming though. I know I'll burn for the things I've done, the sins I've committed. And I don't deny hell is where I belong, but I want my time first. I want my time with her.

She's mine.

Forever.

No matter what.

Author's Note: Sergio: A Dark Mafia Romance is an intensely emotional, steamy and dark standalone romance set in the Benedetti Brothers Mafia world. Be prepared: This is not a traditional romance.

This was a great audible! M. Pauley and T. Marks did a fabulous job being Sergio and Natalie. I loved the intensity, the alpha male dominance and the love Sergio had for Natalie. Now, I would suggest that you read Dominic and Salvator stories before reading this one. Get your tissue box out.

Loved Sergio’s story. The whole series is just incredible. Just incredible! Dark but so good.

This was by far the worst narration. The female was unemotional. She has no character at all. And her male voice was just ridiculous. The male was rushed and so robotic. The narration ruined the story. Even the sex scenes normally intense and filled with passion was so boring. All the other books I’d watch the time and hope it would go slower so the story didn’t end. But this one I’m finding myself hoping it ends soon. It’s really hard to actually focus on the story.
Huge disappointment with the narration. Really hoping it’ll get re-recorded.

Another great one

I liked the book. I wish they had been written in the correct order. I don't like knowing the ending ahead of time. I read Dominic a long time ago and didn't read the others for ages and ages because I knew how it would all end. And I didn't care for Dominic's story because of how he had helped traffic women for so long and that tainted this book just knowing that was his future.

I’ve listened to ALLOT of audiobooks and being a book listener instead of reader, narrators are important to give the full effect. The first 2 books I listened to by Natasha here on audiobooks had a fabulous male narrator name Christian Fox, he was great. Perfect for the mobster. This guy was a little too animated for me and made me giggle during the sexy times and not in a sexy way either. He’s a great actor, but maybe place him somewhere other then sexy mobster stories? This story was heartbreaking, and made me cringe during a couple of moments, but when you emerge yourself in this world, at another’s creation, you have to accept what happens in it. What is normal for them. That includes no consent, rough sex and no protection. The protection thing in these types of stories by Natasha and by other authors are really pissing me off. Catering to the liberal masses and it pulls from the story in a negative way. These stories are FICTIONAL, and readers need to stick with what they like and accept the worlds these authors have built for their characters or stop reading these types of story with such ridiculous criticism. It pulls me out of sexy time when the sound of a condom is being described as it’s tearing open and being put on. If you have some fictional women liberals as characters, fine, make them protection cautious, but leave sexy time for what it is - sexy time in a FICTIONAL world. Not real. Make believe. Damn the consequences.

Loved the story, not to fond of the male narrator.

After reading Salvatore and Dominic I wasn't for sure if I was ready for a more emotional book. But Sergio definitely needed his story told. Be prepared for a very emotional story. Know ahead of time that this story doesn't end the way you want too. There is no happy ending besides Natalie having Jacob.

Emotional
