What an amazing debut

I absolutely devoured this book! As everyone knows by this point, I go in blind to every book so all I knew was that it was YA Fantasy/Romantasy. When I started realizing I realized fairly quickly it was a Snow White and the Huntsman retelling and WOW did this book deliver everything I wanted and more.

Slow burn enemies to lovers, top notch banter, great plot? Amazing storytelling, absolutely swoonable quotes, loveable characters.

It almost read like a thriller where there are red herrings everywhere to mislead you on who was the villain and you didn’t know who betrayed whom.

Kudos to Amber Hamilton for this because that was one hell of a debut novel!

intrigue

the story line had many twists and turns throughout, holding you interest. the story line was full of intrigue. it was not full of sex and smut, and kept youvinterested

Unexpected twist

Hard to explain without spoiling the book! Overall, amazing spin of Snow White and the Huntsman with underlying theme of rebirth 🤍

A melting pot of plot

This was such an “everything but the kitchen sink” type of story, it was like the author couldn’t decide what to write so we got this weird Dramione fanfic with a Snow White crossover and it didn’t make any sense and was corny and predictable.
