Amazing Story & Characters!

This was my first series I’ve read by Samantha Goode and I was NOT disappointed! From the very first book, I was drawn in to the plot and character development. The world building was easy to follow and imagine thanks to Samantha’s descriptive writing style and pacing. The romance between couples in the story was a perfect blend of angst and spice. The final and last few chapters of this series was fast paced (as expected) due to the events occurring. It did not leave me as a reader feeling it was rushed, but rather intensified the high stakes feelings. My only criticism, was that I hoped we might have had an epilogue for Dean & Sage in addition to Maddox & Eva. Overall, the performance by Auri and Tom was spectacular and they will be going to my top 10 Audiobook narrators. First 5 Star Series read of 2026 for me!

Great listen

I liked the story, not quite as predictable as others I’ve read, some parts got a little drawn out, but it didn’t take away from the from the experience.
