Melinda, Alice, and Liz are very good friends. Likewise, their husbands, too, are close and have known each other since childhood. Once a year, the men take off for Las Vegas for some guy-time and to reinforce their brotherhood. Their wives, even though somewhat reluctant, support this venture and do not want to interfere with their husbands' friendship or appear mistrusting. Everyone goes on "happy" and oblivious for years, until Liz discovers a large packet of condoms, lubricant jelly, and a pair of handcuffs in her husband's suitcase. The only undisputable recourse left is for the wives to catch their husbands' red-handed and in the act, leaving no room for denials. Is there a just retribution for a spouse who has cheated and lied multiple times, while appearing to be wonderful, loyal, and committed?

Got caught up in the betrayal and anticipating some resolution.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The story was more sympathetic to the women .

Which character – as performed by Will Damron – was your favorite?

The male characters are done very well . The females not as much .

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was angry at the husbands and wanted to see them suffer, but could understand the wives
dilemma of not wanting to ruin their and their children lives .

I listened to the book in one non stop sitting and it held my attention for the most part. I would have liked more detail and character development and more first person narrative .
