captivating

an intriguing story and very well read out loud. The collectors edition hard back was so beautiful that I had to buy it and I went back-and-forth between reading the beautiful pages and listening. It helped me get through it in a shorter period of time, which was important to keep it all together in my head. I couldn’t stop listening and reading, although I didn’t always know exactly what was going on. For me it was a little overcomplicated, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love it. I wish there was more of a glossary of some of the ships terms and the names of the various ships to keep the plot thread going in my mind. But overall, an epic tale. set some time aside, so you can really concentrate on this book and you will be rewarded.

This book was refreshing, and an amazing adventure. I'm honored to have taken this trip with these characters

Unique magic system. Perfect slow burn.

This was honestly so cute. The magic system was super unique and the slow burn was delicious. It’s action packed and the twists are so good, you never see them coming. I really enjoyed it. The narration was great although I do wish it was duet style.

All over the place and still not going anywhere

The narrator of this book is not at all at fault. The plot is somehow overly complex and still surface level. The characters have zero development and I don’t really care what happens to them. Not a fan of
