In Agatha Christie’s classic, Sleeping Murder, the indomitable Miss Marple turns ghost hunter and uncovers shocking evidence of a perfect crime.

Soon after Gwenda moved into her new home, odd things started to happen. Despite her best efforts to modernize the house, she only succeeded in dredging up its past. Worse, she felt an irrational sense of terror every time she climbed the stairs.

In fear, Gwenda turned to Miss Marple to exorcise her ghosts. Between them, they were to solve a “perfect” crime committed many years before.

Wonderful performance by the narrator. Very enjoyable listen. And the story of course is magnificent Agatha Christie. Miss Marple is her very best character.

She sounds like she’s from Texas in the southern USA! It did not belong in this British murder mystery

What is with Gwenda’s Glenda’s voice?

The story was nice and well narrated but the one listening has to be used to Agatha Christie’s style to follow this one since all correct conclusions come in the end. Miss Marple was not the main character thinking through as the story rolls but the young couple involved in the plot. They were sometimes annoying. And lost with too many conclusions. But since I love Agatha Christie’s style, it was not difficult to enjoy the story. But I followed my own instincts and got rewarded. Sure I recommend it!

Nice story
