With the help of this powerful guidebook, meet your ultimate You and cultivate real self-acceptance and true self-love in the present moment.

You want to love yourself. You want to let go of feeling invisible or unworthy or alone. You want to break free of others’ expectations (and your own) and live life on your terms. Let’s do it!

In this highly anticipated debut, plus-size personal growth trailblazer Sarah Sapora redefines self-love, offering the knowing nod, the deep cleansing breath, and the older sister wisdom which women of all sizes have been waiting for. Soul Archaeology begins with a simple, illuminating question: “What’s hurting me right now?” Acting as your guide, Sapora helps you through the sticky, liberating process of self-discovery to uncover your Ultimate You, allowing you to:
  • see the patterns of self-abandonment that screw you out of a self-loving life;
  • define how you truly want to feel and craft a plan to make it happen;
  • build your Self-Love To-Do List to break free of the quest for unattainable perfection and learn to love the empowered, messy, and beautiful you.
Weaving together practical, transformative guidance with her own deeply personal narrative, Soul Archaeology teaches readers to cast off the chains of traditional Before-and-After thinking so often found in self-improvement. Instead, it offers a strategy for self-accountability, honesty, and compassion that can help each of us to grow into our greatest selves–a person not defined by weight or age, but by our commitment to a more loving, honest, and powerful life.

“I wish I had this book years ago on my journey to self-love. Soul Archaeology offers the opportunity to save women decades of time wasted beating down what they see in the mirror, as I did. This book was heartfelt. The beginning of the book was very logical and dealt with making lists, defining key words and setting goals whether they were defining boundaries or figuring out who your best self is going to be. If the first part of the book was like a classroom with an encouraging teacher the last part of the book was looking at the inner self and was akin to a Buddhist monk teacher. Ultimately I preferred the second part of the book where concepts like what are your problems, other people's problems and God's problems are defined. This book was written because the author had some negative things happen that she had to deal with and this is really a guide book to dealing with self issues and being your best self.

Sarah narrates her book and I can't imagine that anyone else would do it the justice it deserves. From early on her words spoke to a place within me that has been buried despite a lot of personal growth work.

This book, the personal stories, and the prompts for taking the material into your own hands take big concepts from the ethereal to the tangible... and I cannot be more grateful! (The Audible version comes with a PDF that contains the prompts and visuals referred to within the text.)

If you have ever had that feeling that you've done everything you can, but still feel like it's not good enough, please give this a listen. It's like coffee or couch conversations with a good friend or sister who can't help but be her truest self and wants the very best for you. She's funny and adorably swear-y and relatable - and best of all, in her telling it like it is has a knack for articulating the process of growth in a perfectly understandable way.

This book has helped me find my most precious self!

One of the best narrations I’ve listened to in years.

I really felt like I was curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and my bestie, and we were hashing out our problems together.

Highly recommend.

Captivating!
