Exciting sequel!

This exciting continuation in the Space Punks universe had me on the edge of my seat.

It had been quite some time since I finished book one in this series but it took me no time at all to fall back into this world and remember all of its intriguing characters.

Keeping these spoiler free I will be vague but I love the extra layers to David’s character that are unveiled as time goes on. Puppy isn’t as innocent as he seems and I am soooo curious where the new developments will lead.

And I really appreciated getting to see more of Nightingale and Aztec’s relationship, as well as Hel’s and Neman (I don’t know how to spell any of the names since I have been listening to this through Audible so if I botched them my bad). Everyone is such interesting and multifaceted. I was so invested in the story I jumped into book 3 the second I finished this.

Anna Mocikat: Mistress of the Cyborgs

Picking up where one leaves off isn't always easy. In my case, I'm getting old and just can't remember sometimes. But what a story continuation this is!

This volume picks it right back up without any disconnect of the storyline. I don't want to spoil anything, but if you've read the first one, you HAVE to pick this one up. But, I must warn you: Anna has a streak of Metatron (from Behind Blue Eyes, another must-read series!) in her - evil cliffhanger ahead!

I love Space Punks - my first exposure to her works. I binge through everything she writes, and she's easily one of the BEST SciFi/Cyberpunk authors out there. I wouldn't be surprised to see a movie or two based on her works down the road!

Get it - you won't be disappointed!
