There begins the jest that his friends Sir Rupert Armitage, Lord Benjamin Fortescue and the young Horace Pettigrew join in on, and Stephanie's adventures continue.
But will all the friends continue to see Stephanie as merely an amusement ? Or will hearts collide?

Delightful Regency with Unusual Heroine

I very much enjoy Alicia Cameron’s books and this new series is delightful. The ‘Wild’ Marchmonts are so Unique and Stephanie Marchmont is so unusual for a young lady of the Regency. She is certainly unlike any Regency heroine I have ever come across. But from the introduction of the Five Miss Marchmonts in book one, I anticipate at least 2 more unusual sisters in future books. This book, Stephanie’s story, introduces several friends of Stephanie’s romantic interest, and these characters are likely to play a part in the love lives of the remaining unmarried sisters. And Helen Taylor is an excellent reader. I hope she remains the narrator for all the books in this series.
