Ivy needs a miracle and a drink - not necessarily in that order. What she doesn't need is Ted Jacobs, a.k.a. Mr. Know-It-All. She's determined to save her struggling winery, but she can do it without the annoyingly handsome man's help, thank you very much.

Ted wants to catch lightning in a bottle and create the world's greatest wine, but he's smart enough to know he can't do it alone. When he heads to Napa Valley to keep his grandma from ending up in jail (don't ask), he meets Ivy Dobbs, the world's most stubborn woman. Fine, she's beautiful and as intoxicating as his award-winning cabernet, but she stomps on his offer to collaborate.

Ted knows it's risky to mix business with pleasure, but if Ivy would only listen, they might just be the toast of the town.

Overall, this was a cute story and had some funny moments but the voices of the narrator sounded AI or choppy. Her voice was so annoying that I almost stopped listening to the book....

Cute story but the voices were horrible

I loved this book as I love all of Rich Amooi's other books. I hate that they have end so soon, so to prolong the books I limit how much I read. Just so I can savor it like fine wine (in my case good dark chocolate). He really does like to give you so many twists and turns with your emotions in his story telling which is keeps you guessing. This book was a little different in the part that the doggy characters played more into the background while the meddling grandmothers played in the foreground with their antics, while giving the main characters more the push they needed. He has so many good characters in his books that help tell the stories and sometimes stand out more than the main character while still make the stories about the main characters, and this book was no exception. Both Grandmas were too hilarious and Ivy's grandpa was too cute with his banjo. The narrators did such a good job with story that you could tell they were having fun reading the story. As always I can't wait for more Rich Amooi books and in the meantime I will just have add this one into another one I will have to keep rereading.

Fun and Corky

This book made me laugh out loud. It was a good story. If we could only blend this with spice and dual voices. This would have been one of my favorites. Those are hard to find
