Bleh

I remember listening to this series a decade ago and initially not being impressed, but my curiosity about the other brothers' storylines kept me engaged, and I'm glad I finished it, as it ultimately proved to be a satisfying experience. Looking back, I think the second installment stands out to me because of the more likable characters. In this book, I found Becca's character to be off-putting and poorly developed, perhaps due to the narrator's portrayal or the characters' high school junior status. However, I did like Chris and Hunter.

I loved this book, if really keeps you interested there was never a slow moment. Love it! It was fun and interesting concept

Hard to follow

It was hard to understand or follow any story line at first. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Only action was towards the end. It just wouldn't be my first pick to recommend. Actually I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to listen to it again and see if I pick up anything I didn't at first. I didn't get through the first chapter before wishing I had not purchased it.

Chris

This is a good introduction to the Merrick brothers and Becca. I can't really say it is a paranormal or magical in theme though. Their powers, or I should say abilities are drawn from the natural elements around them. But none of them have really practiced to get a good handle on what they are capable of. The characters did grab my attention well enough to want to continue the series.

Good Book

This is a Good Book, I Believe it was worth the credit... THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT IS THE ENDING!! However I just noticed it's a series so I'm hoping the next book picks up RIGHT WHERE THIS ONE ENDED OR ELSE I WON'T BE A HAPPY WOMAN! I'll modify my review after I find out if the issue gets fixed....
