Cyborg samurai Catherine LeBlanc pulls out the big guns—literally—when aliens unleash an apocalyptic weapon in the seventh book of this cyberpunk adventure.

The Antithesis want nothing more than to consume other worlds, altering their environments and birthing armies of monsters to continue their spread across the galaxy. Their next target is Earth, but with hundreds of Samurai protecting their home, it will be no easy victory. Taking root on Mars and its moons, the Antithesis have concocted a plan for the ultimate cosmic takeover: transform Phobos into a living satellite and hurtle it toward Earth.

Phobos has been terraformed into a breeding ground, creating an army capable of flooding the entire solar system. As the giant alien nest nears, the threat becomes increasingly apparent. If the Martian moon collides with Earth, the loss of life will be catastrophic, and the Antithesis will be free to turn humanity's home into a new hive for the enemy.

With Armageddon fast approaching, Catherine LeBlanc and her fellow Samurai only have a matter of days to prepare their counterstrike. To prevent the planet from turning into a wasteland, they will need to assemble international forces and meet their extraterrestrial foes on the battlefield. But even their combined firepower might not be enough to defend against what lies ahead....

Another great chapter in the life of Stray Cat. lots of action, lots of laughs, and some introspection. Wonderful performances by the narrators of course. Can't wait or the next one

Just as fun as the rest

The character of Catherine 'Stray Cat' is complex, weird and so much relatable. My own character is not even close to hers. and yet, she manages to make laugh, either with or at her. But she also can make cry. In short, she moves me.
This was from the first book and it gets more so with each new one.
So I can only just wait for the next book.

From the first bbok - I always want more when I finish a book from this series

Our little Stay Cat has really gone far in a short time. It seems she is cursed with competency, and more and more people are counting on her these days.

While I found that some of the plot points in this book felt forced, I still really enjoyed the story as a whole. I think this was one of the better books in the series, so enjoy!

Great as Always

Ravensdager pulled no punches this time. now downtime, no lull, and no joke too crass.

Best so far

would like to see a little more sexual stuff like in the old books. It seems Cat is getting stupider... in the first few books it seemed she was learning and at least had a small clue, in this recent one its gotten worse. SHE NEEDS TO FIX HER AIM PROBLEM. its been 7 books, its been aluded too she would take lessons, or get an implant, he'll she could get better hardware and software to assist... has she??? NOPE! All it takes is one of her kittens, Gom, or Lucy's life being on the line and she missing the shot and they die, or the innumerable civilians she could have saved if she could reliably kill the venous. As a one who enjoys shooting i can attest to the months and years of practice it takes to quick draw, and have reliable aim. or simply how to use a shoot a rifle with accuracy. You don't simply learn to be good in the field over a few weeks how to do so without instruction/help. especially with no base on which to build from. Hell her BF bought a knowledge on how to drive a car.... additionally her AI has mentioned she lost out on a lot of points due to poor aim. of course now she's using mecha, and I bet she will not buy anything to help her pilot or shoot better in them.
Otherwise the book was great. im looking forward to the upcoming ones.

combat and interactions between characters.
