I read this book by listening to the audiobook which was very good. This contemporary story had a historical aspect which grabbed my attention. I also found the details about orange groves, Florida and its history very interesting. But then I just had to unravel the layered mystery and it was a good one. The romantic thread of a second chance relationship added fun but also a lot of problems. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and especially the way in which they connected which I won’t spoil for anyone by saying more. As you can tell, the time I spent in the Summerlin Groves was definitely memorable.

This was a good story. A solid four stars. I have to say I didn’t love it as much as the author’s historical fiction. But I liked the farm setting, and the Florida agricultural setting! Wyatt was lovable! I also enjoyed the historical bits and the mystery around the skeleton and the Egg. The narration was decent.

Summerlin Grove was an intriguing story from the first words. While captivating, the story was developed at a steady pace allowing time for character development and unexpected turns in the narrative. There were questions to be answered as well as clues without resolution, but the mystery and suspense never became overbearing nor did it obscure the other aspects of the story as it was developed. The story was rich and full, never plodding or boring. A study in life with all its snags and blessings, failures and victories. I can wholeheartedly recommend this Elizabeth Camden novel as highly as all her others, however, I see a real maturity in this book that signifies the pinnacle of her talent.

Loved this story that came to such an unexpected conclusion. The narrator 's performance was a bit too slow for me. Susie rom an altogether different Grove

I love this author. This book was different from her usual. But I loved the modern story. I love how she once again delved into unknown or lesser known pieces of history. She clearly does so much research to bring these stories to life. The love story was both painful and sweet.
