I loved both narrators but especially the one for Darryl. Every time I heard him I couldn't stop smiling. I previously read the entire series and I forgot that this story is so good.

The characters love story

Their was nothing that I dislike about this book it was interesting and enjoyable and I like that it was a clean romance. That was not at all boring.

the female main character ruins the whole story.

the story was good for the most part. however the female main character is quite offputting. she is self absorbed and easily influenced. when it got to the proposal and how she handled it I lost all interest. she no longer deserved Darrel after that in my opinion. she left him and the kids hanging over a misunderstanding that was 95%her own fault. she is impulsive and rude to the male lead foe 80 % of this story. and the angry black lady trope is not for me!!!

FMC narrator…

Could not stand the female narrator. Voice doesn’t fit the character at all and the pronunciation of Spanish words is so cringe for someone from Belize. Her voice also sounds older than the character. Such a contrast from the first book. I couldn’t finish the audio.
