Dylan St. Clair is chaos. And chaos always leaves a trail of destruction in its wake. I just never expected it to be my heart he destroyed.

I’ve had a crush on Dylan St. Clair ever since he climbed into my bedroom window ten years ago.

Wrong window, Romeo.

I was eleven. He was seventeen.

A bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks with a chip on his shoulder and fresh bruises from his latest fight, he went on to play the starring role in all my teenage fantasies.

But I always knew he was off-limits. So, over the years, I gave up wishing and hoping we could ever be together.

Until he kissed me on a cold beach one starry winter’s night.

Until he said those five words that changed everything.

I picked the wrong sister.

Nothing wrong with his voice per se. More like the recording of his voice was poor. It didn’t match the sound of the female narrator and there were times I double checked my headphones to make sure it wasn’t a malfunction on my end. Story was ok. I was disappointed we didn’t get more of Dylan’s back story in all of this

Male narrator’s sound quality is poor

I don't remember how I came across this series, but I am glad I did. I love that Dylan got his own story and found such heart warming love with Scarlet. Always protrayed as the troubled bad boy even as an adult. Dylan has made a name for his self and lots of money. He has always been the one to take care of things and this time he is sort of being selfish with himself and going for the girl he wants, problem is that Scarlet aka Starlet is his ex-girlfriend Sienna younger sister.
Dylan and Scarlet are a lot alike in the way that they don't conform to the norms, and when he tells her he kissed the wrong sister,....
Of course Scarlet sees everything wrong with pursing any type of relationship with him but because she has been in love with him since she was a teen she can't help herself. The storyline is awesome, there are some great spicy scenes between them and if you liked his sister Remi's story you will like this one even better.

Dylan and Starlet....love them

This book was way better than the first in the series, for different reasons. One, I loved Dylan with his from rags to riches tough mean guy act but the way he loved Scarlett was perfection. The drama was not near as intense as book 1, so I did not have to much anxiety! I loved the character development and how Scarlett was truly a good person, she as not annoying, she knew who she was and did not apologize for it. Also, who doesn't love a ex girl friends little sister plot.

Good listen

Making my way through this fantastic series!! I just loved Remi’s story but Dylan’s story came in with the unexpected tropes and I love both of them so much! These two siblings have been through so much from their rough childhood to moving constantly. The banter was perfect, chemistry, so much angst, the forbidden relationship. It was all so good and another emotional read that I am here for. The audiobook narrators were so perfect for these characters. Avery Caris and Charles Carr brought all the angst and emotion to these characters.

Angsty + Forbidden 😍

My only issue is that I didn’t *love* the male narrator. Not the worst, but not my favorite.

Loved
