Not my favorite from this author

The story line was not as great as her other series- the male narrator was good but the female voice was grating. I am not sure if I would have liked this better with another narrator.

Slowest of slow burns

Enjoyed both main characters and the development of their relationship. The side characters were cool and added an interesting mix to the storyline. The book was very slow for the most part and a lot of chapters could have been skipped. Best parts- the beginning (starts fast and when they meet) and the last 5 chapters (full of action).

Good, not great

Narrators: both narrators were good but the female’s impersonation of a male voice irked me a bit.

Storyline: Good storyline but felt like it was missing a bit of dramatic angst at times. Everything was just always going to be okay. It started out strong but then just fizzled out to me.

Spice: meh

Overall: Not going on my fav list. Didn’t binge but I did finish it so that tells me it was good but not great.

Great Read

This is a great read. The narrators did amazing, JF Harding has such a soothing voice. I love the way the character relationships developed and how their sincerity shined through the words. This is a great read.

Heartfelt Listen

I love this book! The characters and this story are one that I adored so much. I listened to the audio of this one, and it was such a great listen. The narrators are amazing at bringing Eden and Killian to your ears.

Eden is such an amazing woman. She is strong, and I loved her independence. She goes for what she wants and speaks her mind.
Killian is focused on running the bar that he half owns and trying to outrun the ghosts that haunt him.

These two together are a perfect match, and they push each other to be better. They compliment one another in so many ways.

I am totally committed to this series and characters. I need more!!
