What does dating the boss + meddling ex-wife + most adorable three-year-old ever equal? Trouble in Loveland.
At 17, Charlee Jensen packed her bags and left her beloved hometown of Loveland, swearing she would never have anything to do with the men that left her heartbroken: her father, the man who taught her heroes can fall; and Ryan Carter, her much older neighbor and teenage crush.
Now eight years later, Charlee has two degrees she never wanted and no job prospects, forcing her to swallow her pride and come home to work for her father's accounting firm - the same firm where newly divorced Ryan Carter is now a partner.
But trouble starts to stir when Ryan realizes the girl next door is all grown up and completely smitten with his adorable three-year-old. Ryan finds it hard to resist his beautiful, yet annoyingly charming neighbor and coworker, but is torn between his feelings and trying to keep the peace with his ex-wife, the mother of his child. It's a recipe for trouble. Will Charlee and Ryan find the formula for success?

It was refreshing to see a 25-year-old female main character who is likable with strong values without any mentions of religion. I especially enjoyed the events leading up to the ending. It was a clean book with several kissing scenes and some mild making out (nothing below the neck).
I hope Audible adds more Jennifer Peel books to the Plus Catalog, including the second Loveland book since I don't want to waste a credit or money on a book that is only four hours, but I would love to listen to it!
Good Clean Book

The narrator killed this book for me. There seemed to always be a edgy whine and combative sirrine underlying her tone. It’s too bad too, because the storyline was AMAZING.
I love the way issues were presented and worked through- just like real life really works. We get hurt, we get help and opinions from others and we have talks and even times of silence.
I love that this book ended happy as I hope that’s how we all end our tragic and beautiful lives as well.
Great story, whiny narrator. Hard to get past the whine.
