Beautiful 😍

I lovedddd josephine, oh my goodness i loved her quirkyness she seemed a bit neurodivergent to me and i loved that!!! The romance was so heartwarming and the crime stuff was epic. What an interesting story there are so many aspects to jewel e ann’s writing that hooks me, she is truly the bestt

Waiting for the next book

It was a little rough starting out because the female main character is irritating AF. But as the story develops we find out why she’s so mean and it makes it a little more ok - a woman scorned. The characters are well thought out and developed. I loved the banter and winks. The theme seemed to revolve around death and and life (heavy on the death, since she’s a medical examiner and there’s a serial killer on the loose), which gives it a weird spiritual/paranormal vibe.

This is just a repeat of the trans end series

With a less likable fmc. I won’t even waste my money on book 2 in this duet bc I feel like transcend did this very similar subject so well and definitely light years better than this book.
