Good.

Overall it was a good read. I liked Jude and loved Preston, can’t wait for his book. I honestly found Violet so annoying always ” woe is me” mentality. Daliah was really annoying in this book.

Seriously I don’t know how Rina just continues to elevate and elevate these characters, their stories, and this massive universe but it’s insane.

Jude is the most perfect down bad obsessed man in the world. His support and constant validation of Violet was so beautiful. Him telling her he’s proud of her? Perfection.

Violet intrigued me from the very beginning of this series and I have been so blown away by her character development.

Honorary mention goes to Preston because OBVIOUSLY (I cannot wait for July) and Teddy Hamilton & Mackenzie Cartwright. Their performance was perfection as per usual. 🤭

Bruh! What the heck?!

Listen, while I did enjoy getting to know Violet and Jude’s story…the story got so good towards the end, having me on the edge of my seat and then it’s resolved IMMEDIATELY.

Honestly, it’s an ok story starting out. I did feel for Violet and started to understand her POV so the her history…it actually kinda started to make me a bit mad at (omg I was gonna say Daphne 💀 freaking Preston…) Dahlia for not seemingly noticing her friend the way she deserves. Between the two, Violet is a much better friend! I’m glad she has Jude now to protect and defend her the way she deserves.

As for Jude, I really feel for him. It’s crazy how him and Kane’s “upbringing” is pretty similar. I feel for him the most tho but finding out the truth? I just feel bad for those that had to suffer is all I’ll say on that!

Overall, still a great story with strong character building! I’m more looking forward to Preston’s story now!

Not gonna lie I almost gave up listening after the Preston incident (because how could you?! 😢) but I’m glad I continued listening. Can’t wait for Preston and Marcus story. I’m excited 😊
