When the government goes into overreach mode, Braxton Knox responds with violence!

When woke-minded political officials take a man's pet fox and raccoon and kill them, it's too much for Braxton Knox and his allies. What they find in the Adirondacks is a rogue state police unit, a politician who used the death of the animals to advance his career, and an eco-terrorist group that feels that the government didn't go far enough.

When cops go bad, Braxton Knox becomes the only justice that matters.

From the minds of Mike Baron (The Punisher, The Flash, and Nexus) and political thriller author Blaine Pardoe is a story of vigilante justice against the backdrop of modern events. Knox and his team find themselves facing multiple forces bent on stopping them from bringing vengeance for Sheffield the fox and Fritz the raccoon. It is a story of corruption, cover-up, and good old-fashioned retribution.

When I first saw the summary of this book talking about how it’s about a fox and a raccoon, I thought “really? They are going to merc people over two animals?”

But the authors did a good job of making that as just the tipping point and the bad guys involved are worse than just a fox and raccoon getting killed. It’s more about corruption and dirty cops/politicians
Once I realized that, I enjoyed the ride and this one was as good as the first two.

So, worth the read, if you liked the first two you’ll like this one. Don’t let the book summary fool you

Better than it’s summary

These are well written compared to the old pulps, but have some storytelling heritage from those.

Good story. I like the narrator's delivery.

Modernized Mack Bolan stories ... sort of

Author needs to hurry up and write the next book! Can’t get enough! Love the story of government not taking action and people taking care of the problem

Love the story of justice
