Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

She married a billionaire for the money.
She just didn’t expect him to feel like home.

All Janel Bishop wanted was a chance to prove her theory about ancient temples. What she got was a marriage contract with Nick Ryburn—a guarded billionaire with the power to fund her future… and the emotional availability of a locked vault.

The agreement is simple:
Live together. Appear in public.
Fall in love? Absolutely not.

But in Nick’s world of quiet luxury, something unexpected happens. He notices her. Listens to her. Leaves sticky notes on her windshield and makes her tea when she forgets to eat. And Janel—awkward, brilliant, completely unprepared—starts to wonder if she’s the one breaking the rules.

Because what do you do when the man you fake married looks at you like you’re his real forever?

💍 If you crave slow burn romance with a just-as-I-am heroine, a grumpy billionaire who becomes her safe place, and a love that sneaks in through the side door—The Academic Bride will sweep you off your feet.

I love the story. Virtual voice doesn’t have the feeling a human would put into the story and sometimes says words
Phonemically instead of the way it really is pronounced.

Well written, clean romance. I think this would have been better to read. aar if it had real narrators. The virtual voice is not terrible. Pat, it is somewhat static, expressionless and tends to put me to sleep.
