This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

She needs a husband to win the vote.
He needs a reason to believe in second chances.
Their marriage was supposed to be business… until it got personal.

Kensington Donegal isn’t just fighting for her family’s billion-dollar ice cream empire—she’s fighting to protect her late father’s legacy from being sold off by her scheming sisters. The solution? A loophole in the bylaws that gives her an extra vote… if she’s married. With time running out, she turns to the one person she knows can fix it fast: her Aunt Pamela, matchmaker to the ultra-wealthy.

Enter Nash Westport. Ex-business golden boy. Currently out to prove he’s more than a mistake. The marriage contract is clear: one year, one vote, no complications. But Kensington is not what he expected—smart, fierce, beautiful, and carrying a mountain of pressure on her shoulders.

She’s not looking for love.
He’s not looking to lose his heart.
But as the line between fake and real begins to blur, they both have to ask: what’s the cost of walking away?

If you love high-stakes romance, boardroom battles, and slow-burn tension with a big-hearted payoff, The Corporate Groom will melt you faster than a scoop of rocky road.

Story was sweet and clean. I object to the virtual voice. There is no emotion! There is no male voice so sometimes it is confusing who is speaking. The voice did nothing to bring the story to life! I feel rather frustrated!

Great story but virtual narrative

This author used words to describe each scene with great relatable imagination. It is a simple love story set in the corporate world. Though I can’t imagine such forgiveness in the setting, it is fiction nicely done.

Beautiful narrative, neat story

This was longer than expected but author took the time to develop the characters and their relationships. Loved the conflicts between the siblings and how the past has driven a wedge between them. There is plenty of swoon between the main couple with their arranged marriage.
Personally I hate virtual voice. So read parts of it as it is very hard to differentiate who is speaking with the virtual voice it has a really long way to go before it replaces a real narrator.

Well written clean romance

This was a good solid story. Good plot, realistic, strong, relatable characters. Good enough to keep listening despite the narration. It would have been much more entertaining, had it been narrated by voice actor(s).

Good story

The AI narration’s cadence is inconsistent, which at times makes it difficult to follow the meaning of the text. The pacing and emphasis often feel unnatural and distracting. Additionally, the narrator pronounced the sister’s name three different ways throughout the book, which pulled me out of the story and made it confusing. Overall, the narration detracted from the listening experience.
