Well written and narrated

This group of traditional style stories is well written and narrated. The stories follow traditional patterns and are well tied in to canonical Holme style.

Excellent Collection of Spot-on Stories

Arthur Hall is an excellent writer and is quite successful emulating Doyle/ Watson in this volume. The stories capture Holmes' world quite successfully. One of the key rules in Sherlockian pastiche writing is that seemingly supernatural events must have a natural/ logical ending. This collection continues a story or two that hint at the supernatural but Hall follows the rules believably. The always excellent narration of Michael Langan makess a good book even better. I am more than happy to recommend this book.

Entertaining Holmes stories

Good solidly written stories that featured Holmes and Watson. The narration by Michael Langan is outstanding. His performance brings the characters and engaging stories to life.

Wonderful Read

The seven Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson were never in the same book together, and they are a fantastic and wonderful read. One after another, makes it difficult to put down. Loved them!!!

Excellent performance with enjoyable Holmes & Watson

These are good pastiches that feel fairly Doylian. The mysteries and their unraveling are not as outre or complex as ACDs. The narrator is excellent at the different voices.
