Ohhh this book

First, let me say that if you start this and you find yourself not liking it, just hang in there. I really didn’t like the narration in the beginning but I had paid for this book and decided I was gonna hear it out and I am so glad I did. This book has everything that I love. Angst, Characters that I wanted to hate, men I wanted to slap, women I wanted to shake. But man, what a great story. I never thought I’d find myself rooting for the other woman. Loved it.

Excellent Story. FINALLY the ending you never get!

I was so so so happy with this short story. SPOILER ALERT. It seems like it is impossible to find stories about affairs where the two people who love each other actually end up together. It's either some ultra psychological drama, or the husband never actually leaves the wife that he's clearly unhappy with, or the mistress ends up being a nutcase, or they get all noble about things because it's quote unquote not the right thing to do. blah blah blah. This book was so great and I can see that I will listen to it more than once. If you're looking for a happy ending to a story about an affair then definitely get this book.

Its just what the title says, but so much more. Completely enjoyed the listen. Look forward to more from this author.

Get some gonads

If your unhappy (to both the adultery and the one cheating with the adulter) get a divorce and work the crap out before cheating on your spouse! This book shows how shallow people can be.

Thou shall not commit adultery PERIOD

If you want an excuse do cheat with a clear conscience under the excuse I TRIED so it's not my fault with ZERO accountability for the actions YOU do and say which results in you cheating on your spouse then YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK. From the beginning it reminded me of the Betty Brodrick Story - 26 years of marriage and didn't mean to cheat on his wife it just happened. B S with a capital B and the poor mistress who tried to not sleep with him but couldn't stay clothed or was never taught to go after a marred men assuming your a grown woman who isnt shallow and selfish the SOB who your sleeping with behind the wife's back. This story even set the stage of the inlaws not liking the wife 26 years 2 kids and 2 grandchildren the inlaws great grandchildren later. CHEATING is a choice not some universal pull that you have no controll over. It's called DIVORCE and teaches your grandchildren this thing called morals and responsible behavior that does no harm to the people you at one point chose to be and built a life with.
