this book give me so much joy than I expected. I'm so glad I bought this book and I'll follow this author for another series too.

Amazing!!! The story had so many interesting twists and thoughts. Shadows of Alice in wonderland and other fantasy stories. Beautiful

I really really like this book but the ending got me mad like what the fuck

Phenomenal!

Oh my god I’m obsessed with this series! I read A LOT but it’s been years since I’m hooked and salivating after a series like this! I inhale the story, think about it when I’m not listening and dive into the next book when I’m finished.

This fairytale-like story for adults continues in its whimsical magical world. I’m not going to give any spoilers but trust me, this story is even better than the first book. It’s very hard to read Jacks, hard to understand his motives but he’s melting my heart with Evangeline. Every time he’s with her my heart melts. Aaand the ending, omg THAT ENDING!!

The first book was very good but this one is on another level!

And dear Ms Rebecca Soler keeps impressing the hell out of me with her phenomenal narration. The way her pace picks up at action scenes is absorbing. The way she narrates sad and emotional scenes is heart breaking. The way she uses different voices for each character is amazing. Overall, her narration is very clean and capturing.

Love stories shouldn't have cheating!

Couldn't get past the cheating and the fact that no one even acknowledges the fact that she js cheating and Evangeline doesn't even feel bad about it! Every "cutesy" moment with the psychopath Jacks I had to put the book down and breathe becauss it wasn't romantic at all. it was disgusting because Evangeline is an unrepentant cheater. At least have the marriage plot line resolve before jumping straight into having her cheat with another man! Also the hot and cold crap from Jacks wasn't hot, it just made me question why there was any attraction at all since Jacks is a horrible person.
The performance, however, was really good. Probably why I finished this book at all. Won't be reading the 3rd book at all. No interest in reading how the trash cheaters end up together. At least I know they will since they deserve each other and they can go be stupid together and leave everyone else alone.
