Fun read.

It took me a few pages to get into the story,and then I couldn’t put it down. Great humor. Sometimes I laughed out loud. Cute, fun, well written and well narrated.

I don’t normally write reviews but I listened to this based on the ones other people left.

Spoilers ahead——

Though the humor was pretty funny the relationship between the two MC’s was very fast, like 3-4 DAYS fast. I know it’s fiction but it felt very rushed. Then to leave him in Rome alone was just crazy. The build up to find out who Angus was, was kind of ridiculous, you could tell when Cal talked about him and the fortune cookies it wasn’t a lover.
If you were expecting spice there wasn’t much, a BJ scene and a fade to black scene. Just in case that’s your thing.
Overall I probably won’t listen to the rest of the series.
However The narration was excellent.

Missing something

I understand insta love. I love them. But there was hardly any interaction with them before he’s saying he loves him. I wish we had more interaction with them before the I love yous were thrown around. Overall good story.

I love this series!

This series is so funny, heartwarming and romantic! The person doing the reading and voices of the characters is amazing. I love the drunk older Irish ☘️ woman…the voice actor sounds like Robin Williams when he played Mrs Doubtfire! This is an absolute must listen to series. I listened to these books while driving around for work. I laughed, I cried, and I felt like I was part of the story because it just pulls you in and you get invested in the characters lives. It is one set of books that I would absolutely love to see made into a series on television. It’s one of the best series of books that I’ve listened to since the Heated Rivalry series! It is that good! It is worth buying the credit credits to get the entire series of these books, I was so invested in it that I almost binged listened to the series in one day. Well worth every penny! A++++++++++++++++++++

Feel Good Romance

This light hearted romance really lifted my spirits. I appreciated how sweet the characters were to each other.
