The Blue Ridge Resistance is the third book in The New Homefront series and picks up where The Guardians left off.

The main characters have struggled to survive in a nation that underwent what appeared to be an orchestrated collapse, with several elements joining together to bring America to its knees. With the country and its infrastructure still in disarray, and with power struggles and conflict within all levels of government delaying a recovery, people must fend for themselves in order to survive.

As the residents of the Homefront and their homesteading community find themselves running low on supplies, they must venture outside of their East Tennessee mountain hideaway in search of what they need, while the outside world begins to jeopardize the stability and security they have worked so hard to achieve.

Join with them as they continue to fight the evil and tyranny in their new world, while they strive to maintain their own dignity and humanity.

If you like action-adventure, prepper, SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, patriotic, survival fiction, you should check out this series.

very enjoyable conclusion. Great story and great characters all coming to the great ending, well the only complaint I have is that the ending seemed rushed. Perhaps I expected a drawn out end with more well, more battle. But this is not a complaint perhaps just a wish for a longer ending for the series was most enjoyable and actually sad if this is the end. I will eagerly look for more from Stephen C. Bird.

Narration was excellent, Patrick Freeman did a great job.

Recommended.

A good final - maybe (perhaps spoilers be warned)

excellent story and believable characters, the story has been good and consistent ,with a solid mix of details and stories/scenarios the characters encounter.the only thing I would do a little different is maybe add more big picture details, such as battlefield reports from other parts of the country and subjects along those lines.also I believe with that amount of desertion in the military, you should be seeing rebel military units and militias armed with heavier weapons such as AT4s and some stingers as armories would have been looted or cleaned out by troops leaving in some cases. just my opinion .and look forward to volume 4.

Ready For Volume 4

I love this genre. I consider the story line to be scary and at least a little bit believable. Worth a listen. Reader is fine to good. I think they did a bunch of work with his performance and is way better than book 2.

Good series.

Don't like continuations but love the series so far. Don't like that I have to wait 6-12 months
for a book to be come audible. This book brings the reality of living in the woods so to speak. I know because I live in the woods.

Good book kept me on my excitement level

The reader did not properly pronounce some words. The story is painful, but realistic. Will continue the series.

Good but need a better reader
